Facebook users should be alert

Also, they are recommending the use of Corona vaccine. Not only this, Facebook groups and pages predicting the Corona virus vaccine are also being closed.

Facebook is working on many levels

On behalf of Facebook, the Australian Select Committee on Foreign Interference, while filing a document, was told that Facebook, along with partners and policy makers, is being shut down on its behalf to spread misinformation. Facebook said that we are committed to providing accurate information about the vaccine to the users. For this, many levels of work are being done on our behalf, so that the wrong and misleading information of the vaccine can be spread.

Instructions for giving information on monthly basis

Facebook said that since the beginning of the epidemic, on its behalf, the work of sending official information to users through Facebook and Instagram has been done. The Australian Government and the World Health Organization (WHO) are helping us in this work. Information displayed by the company is reaching every single user who searches the posts related to the corona virus. On behalf of the European Commission, several social media companies including Facebook, Twitter and Google were recently asked to display misinformation related to Kovid-19 on their platform per month. Also, provide data to the authority in this regard on a monthly basis.

No complete restriction on wrong information

Facebook said that authorities on its behalf have been informed of the top Facebook groups and pages that are trying to spread misinformation about the vaccine. Also, the company is labeling misinformation to prevent them from spreading. The company admitted that the misinformation has not been completely stopped. But companies are moving fast in this direction. Facebook said it has recently launched a separate section "Facts about Covid-19" for Kovid-19, where WHO provides accurate information related to the corona virus.
